Quality policy and commitment

We work hard to maintain a high level of quality in all assignments. Please remind us of that commitment!

In order to create visible benefits for customers, this ambition means that:

  • technical advice should be based on available scientific and empirical knowledge, as far as practically possible. Unfortunately, it is not possible to survey all publications in the field of acoustics, but we use several channels to continuously search for information that contributes to solving the customer's problem in the best possible way.

  • we cooperate with several acoustic consultancies and run a dedicated online service for acousticians (ISAC), in order to learn about practical problems and provide an overview of useful scientific publications.

  • we conduct some in-house research and development of computational tools, see our software acoulatis.

  • we provide calculation tools and open product databases that are used by most acousticians in the Nordic region and publish advice on the application of these tools.

IF there is an error, we do our utmost to clarify the problem and seek reasonable solutions.

Privacy & personal data under the GDPR Data Protection Regulation

We safeguard our customers' personal integrity and protect personal data according to the following procedures:

  • We receive personal data from companies in connection with requests for assignments, or retrieve information from publicly available services (e.g. Bolagsverket, UC, HITTA, PROFF and others). We save the personal data in our financial system and in our e-mail system and use these to send out assignment confirmations, e-mails and/or contact you by phone. The personal data is needed to enable us to communicate, carry out and report assignments, invoice our costs and establish legal accounting. We only store business-related data for these purposes. We only work on behalf of companies, authorities, foundations and do not undertake assignments for private individuals. We therefore do not store any data about private individuals. In some cases, we perform credit checks and seek other information about a client company or stakeholder, but we do not store this information.

  • We do not disclose information to third parties for the purpose of marketing services or similar, but our sub-consultants may receive certain information if it is needed to fulfill a specific assignment, which they do with assignment confidentiality according to the industry rules in ABK09. We may also be required to disclose certain information to authorities upon request by law.

  • Personal data is stored in password-protected mobile phones, personal computers and on backup disks stored in monitored or locked/alarmed areas. Our email, calendar and contact list are synchronized via an external Microsoft 365 server, but we do not use foreign cloud services for storing mission-related information or personal data. We also host the ISAC web forum on a server in the US, where other acoustic consultants are registered to log in and retrieve technical information. Other participants in ISAC can see the personal data that a participant has entered about themselves. Cleaning of customers' personal data takes place continuously, but no later than 10 years after completion of the assignment.

  • If you would like an extract of the data we have registered about you, please contact us and we will send it to you as soon as practically possible and free of charge. If you wish to have any information corrected or deleted, please let us know and we will arrange this immediately.
